Gentronix Announces Introduction of its New BlueScreen HC Genotoxicity Assay and an in vitro Comet Testing Service

BlueScreen HC is a human cell-based reporter assay that monitors expression of the GADD45a gene, a P53 target that is up-regulated in response to all types of genotoxic stress. To coincide with the expansion of cell-based screening services, Gentronix has also announced the introduction of its in vitro Comet assay service.

Functional Screening of Recombinant CHO-M1 Cells using the PHERAstar from BMGLABTECH
09 Feb 2010: This application note demonstrates the HTRF® assay from Cisbio as a fast and reliable method to directly screen a large number of stable transfected single cell clones. Carbachol dose response curves with fresh cells from a growing culture and frozen instant cells measured on BMG LABTECH´s PHERAstar showed similar results for EC50 and signal-to-blank values.
